You will then be asked to enter:

Does my registration on the SafeTender platform automatically give me access to the Sourcing platform?
When you register your company on the SafeTender platform for the first time, you automatically register your company on the Sourcing platform. You will then receive two password initialisation emails:
  • An email to initialise your password on SafeTender
  • A second email to initialise your password on Sourcing as your company’s account administrator.
The login is the same for both platforms.
If a second user registers for your company, they will only receive one email to initialise their password on SafeTender.
How can I ensure that future users are linked to my company?
To ensure that new users are automatically grouped with your company when they register:
  • It is essential to use the same company ID (SIRET number for French companies, intra-community VAT number for companies in the European Union outside France, etc.) as the one already registered with SafeTender.
  • They should preferably have an email address with the same domain as the first registered user. The domain of an email address is what comes after @ (e.g. @lademat.pf). If the domain is different, the first user registered for the company must authorise the other users in the Sourcing module (https://sourcing.safetender.com).
This allows the platform to associate accounts with the same entity.
What is DUNS and how can I obtain it?
The DUNS (Data Universal Numbering System) is an international company identification number. This number is assigned by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B).
In SafeTender, you can enter this DUNS number if your company is not based in France or the European Union.
To obtain this number, please visit this page: https://www.dnb.com/en-us/smb/duns/get-a-duns.html

Instead of the DUNS number, you can enter an identifier of up to 18 characters, such as your company name.

Ask a question

Why can’t I ask the buyer a question during a consultation?
Two reasons why asking a question is not possible:
  • You are not logged in with a username: questions can only be asked when logged in.
  • The buyer has set a deadline for asking questions and this deadline has passed.

How to respond to a consultation

Which deposit method should you choose?

It is preferable to use the simplified deposit mode without Java. However, if any of the files in the deposit exceed 1 GB, it is mandatory to use Java for the deposit.

Which version of Java should be installed on my computer?

For security reasons, it is preferable to have the latest version of Java.

My submission began before the deadline but ended after it. Is it valid?

No, this is a late submission. To be valid, the entire submission must be completed before the deadline specified in the consultation rules.

Is there a limit on the size of the deposit?

No, there is no limit. If one of the files is larger than 1 GB, you must use the repository with Java. Otherwise, it is advisable to use the simplified repository without Java.

What is the date and time of my deposit?
The date and time recorded for the submission is the end date and time of the submission.
Regardless of the submission method, the files submitted are encrypted and sent to the platform. Once this encryption and transmission have been completed, the date and time of submission are recorded.
Therefore, it is advisable to submit well in advance of the consultation deadline.

Additional requests

Can I submit multiple files in response to a supplementary request?

No, you can only upload one file per additional request. If you have multiple files to upload, you must zip them and upload the ZIP file.
